kale chips

One of the ingredients that I purchased for my first official ‘juicing’ was kale. I have never in my life eaten or prepared for consumption…kale.

After I finished making my green juice, I put the extra already rinsed/dried kale back in the fridge. I mentioned to my husband that I had no idea what to do with it all. I was planning on checking out some recipes online tonight. Then this afternoon one of my friends told me that I absolutely needed to make myself a batch of kale chips.

Kale chips? Never heard of’em.

She told me to take my kale…lightly coat them in extra virgin olive oil…

Spread them out on a cooking tray, sprinkle with a bit’o’salt. Then bake in the oven at 350 degrees for ten minutes…

Oh. My. Deliciousness. I ate the whole damn batch. They were absolutely awesome and I plan to make them again (this time so my husband can try some) this weekend.

This could easily become an addiction.
